California
“The
Burbank Leader” is one of the most popular periodicals among the others in a
miles-length list of California newspapers. A range of rubrics includes such
issues as Sports, Marquee, Offers & Deals and Politics. The most active
staff members and columnists are Bill Boyarski, David Laurell, Joyce Rudolf,
Dan Evans, Gretchen Meier and a couple of others. I have read an article which
just below the headline. It was the one about the genocide against Armenians
commemoration in Burbank City hall. That pusued me to the conclusion that the
newspaper is focused on local affairs as much as on the international ones. The
newspaper pays attention to its multi-cultural readers, which is really
heart-warming.
The column
of local news tells us about an accident in Burbank: a 67-old pedestrian struck
by the vehicle a couple of streets from the city center.
The healthy
life seminar, Roary racing and Volumz music show will be broadcasted alongside
with some less interesting shows tonight.
“News
Tribune” is the capital newspaper of the state of Missouri. It possesses an
ordinary range of rubrics: Sports, Calendar, Weather, Jobs, Politics, Real
Estate and some classified ads. The staff members and managers are Jane Haslag,
Gary Castor, Richard McGonegal, Brenda Perkins and many others, as this paper
has big departments. I have read an article about a Jefferson city inhabitant,
who has been honored as Teacher of the year. What I liked is that the newspaper
tends to enlight the small scale news bringing the deserved fame to local
heroes.
The
“hottest” report from the local news tells us that the Linn technical college
will soon get “Missouri” to its name. Not very important but worth attention, I
guess.
And
finally, the TV guide is “glad” to inform us that Ab rocket Twister, Renovator, Vampire Knight and Stonedine will
be aired this evening.
